Users can be enrolled into courses, programs, or certifications individually or via audience lists. If a user is unable to access a course, a program, a dashboard, or a certification, it could be that the user is not in the appropriate audience list.


Check an Audience's Members

1. In Learn@HubSpot, click the settings gear icon settings gear icon in the top right corner, then click Audiences.

Please note: you can also navigate to Audiences by selecting it from the Site Administration menu on the left hand panel found on any course page. 

    2. Search or scroll to find the audience you want to check.

    3. Click the Audience's name.

    4. Click the Members tab.


    Edit a Set Audience

    1. In Learn@HubSpot, click the settings gear icon settings gear icon in the top right corner, then click Audiences.

    Please note: you can also navigate to Audiences by selecting it from the Site Administration menu on the left sidebar menu found on any course page. 

    2. Click the Audience's name.

    3. Click the Edit Members tab.

    4. To assign members to the audience group, search or browse the list of potential users in the right hand column, select the user(s) you require and select Add. The user(s) now appear in the Current users column.

    5. To remove members from the audience group, search or browse the list of Current users in the left hand column, select the user(s) you require and select Remove. The user(s) now appear in the potential users column.

    Pro Tip: Hold down the Alt (PC) or Command (Mac) key to select multiple users to add or remove.

      6. Changes are automatically saved. Select Back to audiences to return to the audience management page when finished.

      Warning: Removing users from an audience may result in the unenrollment of users from multiple courses.  This will include the deletion of user settings, grades, group membership and other user information from affected courses.


      Edit a Dynamic Audience

      1. In Learn@HubSpot, click the settings gear icon settings gear icon in the top right corner, then click Audiences.

      Please note: you can also navigate to Audiences by selecting it from the Site Administration menu on the left sidebar menu found on any course page. 

      2. Click the Audience's name.

      3. Click the Rule sets tab.

      4. To add a new rule, click the Add rule dropdown menu in the appropriate Ruleset.
      To edit an existing rule, click the gear icon beside the rule. To delete an existing rule, click the "x" button beside the rule.

      5. Click Approve changes when finished.
